Remains by KarelSopek Remains by KarelSopek
Same building I have showed up here and here. This is the most recent pic I've done and this building is now in a really bad shape (after several cases of vandalism). Now there are warning sings around that it may unexpectedly fall down :-/

It's still totally gorgeous, though. You captured the building beautifully--this picture is so full of personality!

I love the subject and the variety of gray tones.I'm not too sure about the high sharpness and contrast.I love the effect of the sharpness on the walls. It brings out the texture. The branches in front, though, have become too sharp and a little tiring for the viewer's eye.

Thanks for the comment, opinions like this are always helpful :-). Yeah, I think I know what you mean. My main aim with this scenery was to take multiple exposures, make fusion and finally add eye-catching and detail look. I'm quite satisfied with the result, but you are definitely right about the sharpness of the lower part. With a little more softer look (or vignette blur ) this picture would be better :-).

Oh, so it's an HDR photo! I should have noticed by the clarity of the piece. :P And yes, i agree on the blur part. ;)

Poor old buildings, I hate it when they end up like this. Abandoned and stolen from, they're just skeletons of what used to be.
